Assemblée générale annuelle

L’accès à la justice et la défense de nos droits sont des enjeux au cœur de la mission de notre organisme.Venez passer la soirée avec nous; nous vous partagerons notre bilan de l’année 2017-2018, nos activités, nos bons coups et nos défis.

Ce sera aussi l’occasion de discuter et réfléchir avec vous des perspectives pour la prochaine année.Quels sont les enjeux qui vous préoccupent? Comment mieux répondre aux besoins de la population?

 

À l’honneur : Le projet du guide sur L’accès des personnes immigrantes et réfugiées à des mesures sociales au Québec

Au cours de la dernière année nous avons travaillé à la mise à jour de ce guide et à la création de dépliants d’information et à la présentation d’ateliers et de formations pour les intervenant.e.s;
nous avons très hâte de vous présenter le bilan de ce projet!

 

Participation au conseil d’administration

Notre conseil d’administration est composé de citoyen.ne.s et de représentant.e.s d’organismes communautaires de Petite-Bourgogne et de Pointe-Saint-Charles.
Plusieurs postes d’administrateurs et d’administratrices seront en élection lors de l’assemblée générale annuelle.
Si ce rôle vous intéresse, n’hésitez pas à nous contacter avant l’assemblée pour en savoir plus sur les principaux dossiers traités par le conseil d’administration.

 

Qui peut être membre du conseil d’administration?
Pour poser sa candidature, il faut :

* Être membre de l’organisme (avoir 18 ans et plus et habiter un de nos quartiers);
*
Partager les valeurs et la mission de l’organisme;
*
Ne pas se trouver en situation de conflit d’intérêt avec l’organisme.

 

 

Formule retenue pour l’assemblée

17h30 : Nous débutons par un léger goûter et un moment d’échanges informels avec les membres

18h00 : Début de l’assemblée générale annuelle :

* Rapport d’activités;
* Bilan financier;

* Priorités de la prochaine année;
* Échanges avec les membres;
* Élection des membres du conseil d’administration;
* Animation sur L’accès des personnes immigrantes et réfugiées à des mesures sociales au Québec

20h30 : Levée de l’assemblée

Les enfants sont les bienvenus : une halte-garderie sera disponible.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The meeting will be in french; Whisper translation from French to English will be provided.

Access to justice and right’s advocacy are at the center of our mission as an organization.
Come spend the evening with us – we want to share our year-end summary for 2017-2018, our activities, our strengths and challenges.

 

It’ll also be the time to discuss and think through our projects for next year with all of you.
What issues are important to you? How do we better respond to the needs of the people?

 

Featuring: our project of the guide on Immigrants’ and Refugees’ Access to Social Programs and Benefits in Québec

 

Over the course of the last year we’ve worked to update the guide and put together informational brochures as well as present workshops and training sessions for community workers;
we’re excited to present the report on that project!

 

Participation on the Board of Directors

 

Our Board of Directors is made up of people and representatives of community organizations in Little- Burgundy and Pointe-Saint-Charles.
Several administrator positions are up for election during the Annual General Meeting.
If this interests you, do not hesitate to contact us before the meeting to learn more about our Board.

 

Who can be a member of the Board of Directors? To run in the election, you must:

 

*Be a member of the organization (be 18+ years old and reside in one of our neighbourhoods);

*Subscribe to the values and purpose/orientations of the organization;

*Not be in conflict of interest with the organization.

 

 


Order of proceedings for the meeting:

 

5:30pm: We begin with a light snack and a moment to mingle with members

 

6pm: Start of the Annual General Meeting:

 

*Annual report;

*Financial report;

*Priorities for the next year;

*Discussion with members;

*Election of the Board of Directors;

*Presentation on the Immigrants’ and Refugees’ Access to Social Programs and Benefits in Quebec

 

8:30pm: End of the meeting
