Droit au logement & La marche du FRAPRU

Jeudi 6 septembre 2018
18h15 à 19h45 // un repas sera servi à partir de 17h30
Lieu : 2390 rue Ryde (Centre Lorne)

Housing Rights & FRAPRU march

Thursday, September 6 th 2018
6:15 to 7:45 PM // Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM
Where : 2390 Ryde St. (Lorne Center)

In September 2018, the FRAPRU (Front d’Action Populaire en Réaménagement Urbain) is putting together a march from Ottawa to Québec City to defend the right to housing. More than 500 kilometers will be traveled.

Right now, 305,590 households have pressing housing needs. This means that they live in a home that’s too expensive, too small for their family, and/or in bad condition. They are forced to live in a place where they don’t feel safe or which is poorly suited to their physical capacities.

We’re organizing a discussion dinner to prepare for the FRAPRU march passing through Montreal and discuss housing issues in Pointe-Saint-Charles.

The Club Populaire de Pointe-Saint-Charles will serve a delicious meal starting at 5:30pm.

Organized in collaboration with the Welfare Rights Commttee, the Comité des sans-emploi and the RIL.
